History
DUJMOVIĆ-STOCK BUILDING
This neo-Renaissance two-story house was built in 1903 for the industrialist Abram Stock and is the third in a series of buildings with a front garden on
Zagrebačka Street. The house is also known for its later owner, the famous Split family physician Dr. Mato Dujmović. From the front garden fence to the facade, construction, woodwork and roofing, this house has almost completely preserved all of its
original elements.
Due to its urban and architectural value, it is one of the most significant
examples of historic architecture in Split and is
registered with the legal status of an immovable, protected
cultural property –
classified as ‘profane
architectural heritage’.
